Propel and MCW Energy Group to Support the Adoption of Alternative Fuel Sources
MCW Energy Group (“MCW”) will be working with Propel, Inc. to introduce and support the use of alternative fuels.
Propel offers high-quality, clean fuels compatible with diesel and FlexFuel vehicles. Propel’s Pureformance FlexFuel (“E85”) is comprised of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline and is suitable for use in FlexFuel vehicles. E85 is derived from fermented starch and sugars, and is an alternative to conventional gasoline.
In concert with MCW, Propel will be offering traditional gas stations the chance to provide their customers E85 as well as biodiesel. Propel Pumps will be installed at no cost to the station owners and profits will be shared. Learn more about the partnership.
E85 produces cleaner emissions, reducing carbon dioxide emissions and other toxins. In 2007, the U.S. Congress passed The Energy Independence and Security Act, which mandates an increase in the use of biofuels, including ethanol, through the year 2022.
